Back in the office ,chillin working hard.  Events are about to begin next week and it's the final cram, time to train our leaders and get ready for Canada day! Gonna be at the marina in the youth zone , It'll be epic!

Go Skate Day Epic Success!

Epic Skate Day was legendary! The Zone and West49 and 414 pulled off a epic event in which kids got to skate get prizes. The Zone was there to hand our free hot dogs and support our local stores and youth!

So YZ, West 49 and 4fourteen are gonna be rocking international skate day on the 21st this month. We got a bunch of sick prizes and booth which will be set up as well as a free BBQ. I'm stoked for this because,  I've never skateboarded or really watched skateboarding. It's something new and fresh that is for the community and not just the boarders.  There will be contests and swag given out to participants. YZ will be reppin our new colours as well as  letting people know exactly what we are up to this summer!

Best part of my day yesterday was when we recieved our new sunglasses! Lime green and purple they are pretty epic and will look baller on our leaders. Me and the rest of head staff are excited to see how they look with our new uniforms. Yeah forgot to tell you guys that the Zone is getting different colours...no big deal we'll just be rocking a new swag. Events are filling up and we're doing school visits, could both be linked I'm not sure but there is a good chance! That's my update See ya Lata

Excitement!

We've ordered uniforms for our staff and special events are filling up! We're booking schools in TBay and are starting visits soon. This is shaping up to be a Legen.... wait for it ....... dary summer! Some events that are almost fully booked are Cake Boss, Paintball and Sailing. Check it out yall , loggin in

A Zone for Youth?

First post on the YZ blog, primarily we're a program for ages 12-17 in Thunder Bay. We offer a place for people to chill and hang out. Sports, Video Games, Movie nights and all kinds of special events. Our program is an open, free drop in program which lets you come and go as you please. As of right now you may call me J.
